dc.description.abstractThe present work aimed to understand the physical and chemical properties of a vinylbenzylimidazolium-based poly (ionic liquid), while also examining how three distinct counter-anions influence these properties. Therefore, the monomer VBmim-Cl and poly (VBmim-Cl) were synthesized and conducted with anionic metathesis using NTF2-, and PF6-. NMR spectroscopy, FTIR-ATR and Raman spectroscopy and TGA/DSC analysis were employed to investigate the structure, vibrational and thermal properties. Additionally, TGA and DSC analysis reveal that the anion nature and the polymerization procedure affected the thermal stability and the glass transition temperature values of the samples.en_US
